Can't you get access to a pc at all?

You clearly have psychic powers Sae, because what happened in game #1 was pretty much that- I started out between the Psilons and Klackons. The Klackons were much too close.
The inevitable war with the Klackons broke out. I was doing okay, or at least not losing any planets, although I did lose some ships. Out of necessity, my entire fleet was dealing with the Klackons. At which point the lovely Psilons launched a massive attack on me. Game abandoned. No way could I fight both of them at once.
Q: So... Why did I lose?
A: - My micro-management skills are for sure not as good as they used to be.
- I've almost completely forgotten how the tactical sub-game works. Learning again now.
- I spent too much time and money building infrastructure. Should've build fewer research labs/ supercomputers and more ships (at the end I was still well ahead of the Psilons on tech- a lot of good that did me).
- My grasp of diplomacy is not what it used to be. Should've gifted the Klackons lots of useless tech (easy if you're Creative). That would've at least postponed the war.
- My research strategy is rusty too. Sometimes went for the wrong techs. Nothing big, but it all counts.
On balance, I'm quite pleased that I didn't win. It means that I get to have some really awesome challenging games.
Will start game #2 tonight. Hoping for an easier starting position, but I'll take whatever comes.
