The bible says this about loving the world:
"Do not love the world or the things in the world. If any one loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the
lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides for ever. "
and has this to tell about serving Christ:
17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, 18 because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval.
Spoken by the church who had no problem enjoying the fruits of the world.
They would just rather that the "flock" remain docile awaiting their rewards in the world that will come after they are dead.
'Crazy' is a term of art; 'Insane' is a term of law. Remember that, and you will save yourself a lot of trouble.
