The bible says this about loving the world:
"Do not love the world or the things in the world. If any one loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the
lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides for ever. "
and has this to tell about serving Christ:
17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, 18 because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval.
Just a tip KoG, a wee little improvement to getting your point across to atheists. If you want to have a discussion about morality or ways to act or problems you see in the world, maybe the worst thing you could do is throw in some quotes from the bibble. We've got no reason to view your holy book as any sort of authority on anything, and until you can convince us that we should care what the bibble says, quoting it is going to get you nowhere.
Instead, try to come up with a reasoned, legible argument on your own.
