Well welcome to the forum, I too am new here. Personally I don't have kids (I am too young) but I guess just like you said, you can't enforce your atheism or lack of belief on your kids. You should incentive them to be open to ideas and ideologies, different positions, explain both arguments, have debates, but never force them to share your views (that actually can go against any secular constitution, even as a parent). I'm glad to see you've let religion go. Can I ask why did you take so long to become an atheist? I am simply curious (I assume you are middle aged because you have 3 kids) because I was an atheist since age 14 and never understood why people take decades to let go religion, to me it made sense to become an atheist since I started to think critically for real. I hope you keep doing well and my best wishes to your kids.
