Well besides the random article or quote here and there, I can't say I'm too familiar with his work. I borrowed 'The Grand Design' on audio book from the library a while back, before I had any understanding of QM or even physics, and I was pretty lost after chapter 2 or 3. Really though, I probably assimilate information better when I actually read it.
Also, I have a book called 'Quantum Physics for Poets' that is supposed to be very accessible...
