Secondly, "studies" underwritten, directly or indirectly, by the chemical industry should be viewed with some suspicion.
You may note that your position is the exactly the same as the defenders of
leaded gasoline when true scientific inquiry was being systematically suppressed by large petroleum.

Of course they should, but since we have no shortage of studies...meh. I can't wait to see how often you apply you're own advice as we move forward.

In the case of cigarettes, they were marketed as having health benefits
BY doctors. And plenty of favorable "scientific" papers where
(and still are) being written by tobacco industry funded "scientists".

And yet we've been calling them coffin nails for centuries. Seams to me that bullshitters just cant bullshit all of us, all the time.

might occur over a long period of time."

Sure can, good thing they don't allow you to consume them, or anyone to sell a product that is covered in them, eh?

of these pesticide residues. Results from the Agricultural Health Study,

farmers who used agricultural insecticides experienced an increase in
headaches, fatigue, insomnia, dizziness, hand tremors, and other
neurological symptoms. Evidence suggests that children are particularly
susceptible to adverse effects from exposure to pesticides, including
neurodevelopmental effects."

"exposure to pesticides" in this context doesn't mean "eating food grown on a farm" ...it means -working on the farm and walking through the pesticides in defiance of every law regarding pesticides because your boss (the farm owner) will fire you otherwise.

I will eat my veggies from my local organic farmer, thank you. You are of course free to eat whatever you like. But, I will reserve the right to resent your accusations.

I make no accusations. I'm giving you the facts. I'm a fucking organically certified farmer(who has spent years getting others certified)...goddammit! I'm losing control of my own market to douchebags who sell folks like you a bill of goods. I've spent a considerable amount of my adult life accruing the skills, connections, and licenses required to make the organic or sustainable transition easy for anyone who asks for my help (even though I already had skills and accreds that could have made me more money)...I've moved from state to state to do so..........all as a registered non-profit because it means something to me.......
