How nice to see that 'liberal Christians' are every bit as ignorant of scripture as their more conservative brethren:
John 2:15 - 'And making a whip of cords, he drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and oxen. And he poured out the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables.'
Clearly, Jesus used a weapon (a whip). Since he made it, he owned it (unless you want to postulate that he stole it, and thus make three thieves on Calvary).
Nothing personal, I just get fed up with believers coming on here and making pronouncements about their faith that are clearly, flatly, and demonstrably wrong.
Are you one of those 'Christians' who've never read the Bible, and just go on instinct?
