Yet it's true, not just of religion but of life in general, that anyone with something really worthwhile and novel to say, will be generally misunderstood. If you exclude these people from your attention, you will be left with the mediocre.
That's sort of what I feel whenever I see progressive revelation- even though I know people have their hearts in the right place it feels like "all religions are equal but some are more equal than others."
