islamic similarities in christianity

Islam is an offshoot of Judaism, just like christianity, so they're basically estranged siblings. And like many siblings, they fight a lot, despite coming from the same parent. Islam is the younger sibling.

Islam isn't an offshoot of Judaism but Satan's alternative to it. God established the nation of Israel to bring the messiah into the world. Satan started Islam as a way to bring the false messiah, the antichrist, into the world. Here is the explanation:

In a sense they are siblings. Moses was a descendant of Abraham's son Isaac. Muhammad was a descendant of his other son Ishmael.

That was pulled from someone's ass in it's entirety. I'm always amazed at how readily people who claim to believe in a mighty and just God think he conforms to musings they just dreamed up. The Bible says absolutely nothing about Ishmael being the ancestor of the Antichrist.
