RATIONAL, adj. Devoid of all delusions save those of observation, experience and reflection
Is everyone who doesn't see things your way and share your experiences irrational and bat-shit crazy or just theists? Your intolerance mayhap need a check. You might be under some delusion of your own.
Yep, I really do feel this way. If that makes me intolerant, then I'm intolerant.
As far as I'm concerned, the only difference between Christianity and the beliefs of David Icke is that Christianity is socially accepted/ sanctioned. In our society its okay to believe in jesus the eternal saviour, angels, immaterial souls, miracles, heaven and hell etc; its not okay to believe in alien lizards controlling the government and drinking the blood of babies.
But in actuality, the evidence for both worldviews is the same, i.e. nil. The plausibility of both worldviews is the same, i.e. nil. And the rationality of both worldviews is the same, i.e. nil. Furthermore, both worldviews are founded on people's bizarre hallucinatory experiences that properly come under the purview of abnormal psychology.
In other words: religion is socially sanctioned insanity.
He who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.
