I honestly don't see how people fall for it though. When I read Lord of the Rings or even Eragon I found them all to be in the exact same category as the Bible although Eragon was quite shitty. I just do not see how people can find the Bible special when so many other books are written revolving around similar concepts and written FAR better.
If a god wrote something I would expect it to have some serious eloquence and grace. The Qur'an is written significantly better although it still does not compare to other modern works.
Why is it people can't stop thinking the Bible is special and set it next to their other books in the fiction section.
If people want truth and ethics then read a philosophical book because myth sure as fuck ain't one of them

I don't like most modern egyptian hymns cause they're in egyptian arabic (I understand the bullshitty parts and I don't like most egyptian arabic stuff) and what makes them worse is the music (it's like something for little kids not hymns)
I love hearing a hafiz recite the Qur'an sounds beautiful. Even the parts condemning Jews and telling Muslims to slay infidels sounds beautiful. I just wish the Qur'an had something meaningful in it because 99% is crap.
