Shannon Hoon might well have been a member of the Twenty Seven Club. He died days after his 28th birthday. His lyrics were deep, but not overwhelming; humanistic, and pure. Blind Melon was a great band; I'll have no problem endorsing them even if they can't make more. Shannon Hoon's death was a major tragedy, IMO.
