If time travel is invented in the future then the future humans could travel back to when anatomically modern humans first emerged and teach them every they know. Allowing them to extend the time allotted for advancements in all fields of science. We could repeat this process until we reach a point where no advancements could be made. The instant anatomically modern humans emerged would also be the moment we reached our peak. Since we're playing "what if" then lets just say we beat death. We also prevent evolution. No more sex and no more reproduction. We would never have to let the destruction of the universe play out. Order would be made permanent and time wouldn't exist except in little bursts.
