Arizona is indeed part of the southern regions (as distinguished from the South) of America...it's why the region from California to Texas I believe is labeled as the Southwestern United States. I knew that distinction when I typed that comment.

I forgot about this silly exchange, 'til a kudos got me back here.

Listen, you clearly missed my point that claiming to know Southern culture because you've been to Arizona, which is in the southwest, is equivocating the cultural and the geographical sense of the phrase "the American South". And as I said above, that points up your ignorance.

I stayed at a hotel in the city of Dallas (I assume it was this city because I judged that the autobus went due east)....I've been to the airport a number of times since it's a hub for several airlines. Not a state I want to visit again.

You cannot even remember the city, and you expect your critique to carry weight?

I lived south of your Mason-Dixon line for 5 years...I had enough for your trash.
