And 99%? I know for a fact you pulled that out of your ass. A lot of atheists don't get into confrontations because of the sheer hostility towards them. And when they do, its not because of their lack of belief, it's because their rights are being infringed on. Would you like to have muslim prayers held in your classroom? No, exactly.
And please, atheists 'whining' about being persecuted? Atheists are the most distrusted group of people in America. You only need to read facebook comments to know how much we are despised, you know, the ones where they say we shouldn't be citizens or we should be shot or killed. We aren't 'whining' about being persecuted, we are standing up to a very real smear campain.
Yes...99% is a little low for the people I get along with actually, but I didn't want to have the number too high just in case I meet a shithead such as yourself....there's always a possibility I will meet an atheist of your class in my daily life, extremely unlikely but not impossible.
I read Facebook comments from other atheists who see your type as the scum of the earth right next to the Christian Fundamentalists....it's the atheists who tend to hate you the most these days.
Frankly, they've had enough of your bullshit ending up reflecting on their normal behavior. They hate you more so than the Christians who probably want to help you (maybe because they generally care about you or maybe because they want more to be Christian like themselves...who knows)...those atheists just want you to stay out of the public sphere and never interact with anyone.
Just like most Christians are respected, only the ones who act like those from WBC etc are pissed upon, most atheists are also respected. It's people like you are not respected.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.
