It's ok if you like being white, and it's ok to think white people treated other races badly, but not as much as you'd feel shameful for it.
Since the issue has been raised:
Even Jesse Jackson said a few years ago, “There is nothing more painful to me … than to walk down the street and hear footsteps and start thinking about robbery, then look around and see somebody white and feel relieved.”
Maybe we are just talking about an innate trait of everyone ?
