Your claim was that you got sick shortly after getting your vaccine shot and that you believed that the vaccine caused your illness.

My claim was that I got poison ivy after getting my vaccine shot and that, therefore, the vaccine caused my poison ivy.

You are a numb one aren't you, having fits caused probably by Encephalitis, is a symptom of the Polio Vaccine, and also other Vaccines. Now if poison ivy was a symptom of polio then it would have been added to the adverse affects list caused by Polio Vaccine but its no, now don't be so silly.
