Well, I have enough balls to put him back in his place if he gets to be too much for me, I wouldn't let him pressure me into joining his religion or drag me to a Muslim country. I've read a lot about Islam ever since we started dating and I know about the good, the bad and the ugly but I've known him for 10 years now and I know that he would never hurt me.
Just the other day we were fooling around and he accidentally cut my gum with his nail and the first thing he did when he realised he had hurt me was to go and cut his nails. He may be a Muslim but he's a pacifist who just wants people to stop fighting already and get along, like normal adults and not bickering children.
And about children and marriage, I personally don't believe in marriage and we'd just do it for tax purposes tbh and I can't have children without help so that's not really something on our minds a lot but we've already agreed to raising them as Atheists until they're old enough to understand and choose their own paths.
Tbh, I think that one day he'll leave his religion. Answering what some people have asked me, yes we do have sex outside of marriage, and his only "tie" to his religion right now is food. Considering this, I think that after being away from his family for a while and living a relatively carefree life where he doesn't have to worry about much except for actual problems, he'll realise what he's missing and leave the religion behind.
We really have no major problems with our relationship though, we've already discussed things regarding our different views and we're hapy together. I really just wanted to know what other people's opion would be.
