Just because "society tells us", doesn't mean it's right. Don't bother bringing up education because that's not something you're born with and it's something you can change with increasing ease. Statuses that you don't choose, such as race and gender and sexuality, should not be bases for one's role because they have absolutely nothing to do with the ability of the person to fulfill that role.
