i am sure your all looking for an un-bias educated answer. well heres my best........i am very familiar with islamic laws as i grew up with them basically until i stopped listening to it. what ive learned over the year was that islam is a cult in definition. blood in blood out. it clearly defines women in the quran being of lesser types of humans comparing them to goats and such. well as for islamic culture and laws they are just as fucked up, literally till this day women are being punished harsher and harsher.......like not even a month ago a saudi teen was arrested for 4 years....guess what for. A FUCKIN CELL PHONE IN CLASS. seriously. these arrests you are explaining are more common than you think. for the middle east me being me and me being non - muslim / atheist is basically suicide. they wouldnt hesitate a second. laws and religion are taken to an extreme when it comes to the middle east...nothing gets done there because of all the arguments and the restrictions. interpretations of the quran are taken literally when its being read. for example.....a sunni in iraq my family knows read the quran as instructed since he was a child. what does the prophet Muhammad say? "i want nothing in this life" so what does this long family friend do. hes a farmer with 7 kids he doesnt want anything from his life either and basically all his kids are following his footsteps.....
