As a Christian, I'm not sure what I would do. Of course, I'm going to do my best to save an innocent person because that's what is right. And if I love Jesus I ought to say I'd save him... But then, if I saved him, I wouldn't be given forgiveness through His death. And I think Jesus wanted to die on the cross... So preventing that would mean going against God's will.
It's an interesting question for a Christian or an Atheist to answer

its selfish to let a innocent man die for your sins. because we know
and everyone knows forgiveness from jesus is exploitable.
that's the bad part about forgiveness. he could forgive either way without him dying.
even if your going against gods will he goes against ours and its plainly written in the bible
so going against him that would be our 1 against his many. god if he existed would need to learn
to forgive instead of needing a human sacrifice to do so. d
