Oh, by the way, it is legal for a president to take military action for a set number of days without approval. He's also made use of the blanket military authorization Congress has given the President for the Middle East theater, a law which is still in effect. Perhaps these laws need to change, and I would agree, but that's how the laws are now. You can't accuse him of being above the law unless he's broken the law.
