The point is in a free society we should expect that a certain percentage of the time people are going to get away with murder. This is just a trade off of having a free society. Since cops are people, a certain percentage of the time cops are going to get away with murder.

I knew a cop whose wife "died in a fall". I think she was pushed and to this day I think he got away with murder. Now I would never going out to loot even though I believe a grave injustice has been committed. My not looting has nothing to do with control, but rather a simple realization that sometimes bad people are going to get away committing horrendous crimes. Sometimes those bad people who commit horrendous crimes are going to be cops.

When I see assholes like Minimalist start "fucking cops threads" part of me gets pissed that Minimalist the uber douche is attempting to demonize cops and sell hate to promote his political view. Another part of me is glad because when cops behave badly...they should be called out for it. I suppose even evil douche bags like Minimalist serve a productive purpose in the world.

All that considered, I have never seen a situation in which a cops actions justified rioting and looting. Rioters and looters are just as evil as evil cops who commit crimes in my opinion....and as far as I am concerned Brian37.....you are an evil ass for giving them a pass.

AND I also said that cops do not deserve a pass and if you had read I also said that does not give anyone license to paint all cops as bad.

I have addressed both Wilsons actions and reaction to the Brown shooting as a collective result of CONDITIONS.

You stupidly confuse explanation of WHY people behave the way they do as an excuse. I can explain how hurricanes form, that does not mean I want them affecting me. CONDITIONS in weather lead to the formation of hurricanes and even hurricanes affect parts of the planet more than other parts.

A white rural poor person with kids, if they have no food, and no job and no support from the community, is more likely to turn to whatever they have to do to survive.

You do not have to excuse for example the actions of the Somali pirates to know that poverty will lead them to get that desperate. Same reason a white poor rural parent might steal a loaf of bread.

Same reason people from third world countries and South America immigrate here. If your conditions are bad, you are going to do what you a have to survive.

You want to know why North Korea is kept on such a tight leash by China? Because China does not want a refugee problem if a war were to break out. Again China and North Korea may have one party rule attitudes to government rule, but Chinese people are not going to treat North Koreans who may escape there the same way they treat each other. Chinese Buddhist being the majority are also not going to treat Chinese Muslims the same.

POINT OF VIEW matters and CONDITIONS matter. Instead of being a judgmental idiot, take yourself outside your own bubble. There is a huge difference between explanation and excusing something.

You do not fix problems by pretending they don't exist. Your talk like that, to me, says while you observe something, you still do not understand what you observe. Understanding something is merely understanding the cause, it is not excusing something.
