I couldn't believe they were trying to make a case for banning manhunt 2, they were either saying that people who are 18 still can't play it without being scared to death or copying the violence, or else their rating system is meaningless and kids play everything.
Glad they failed, but they wasted the high court's time with it. That really pissed me off. It only just got through. They've allowed a lot worse games through before and since, so it was obviously just the name that bothered them and it's connection to the first game.
I'm always flummoxed (is that a word?) by the age ratings in England. At 16, you're allowed to have sex, get married and have children. But you're not allowed to watch a film with explicit sex in it, or one where they say cunt a lot. Or buy Manhunt 2, even the watered down version.
most of the games on console can be grabbed on steam for cheap.
