No, I don't think that you're insecure because of your lack of belief in god. That's not the reason. Perhaps you're accustomed to being ridiculed by theists and I don't know, maybe you feel victimised and always on the defensive. Other atheists here have certainly said as much, and it would explain a lot. Also, I can assure you that your emotions concerning me and what I say and how I say it aren't shared by all. If you claim to speak for everyone, you're obviously incorrect, and if you claim to speak for yourself, that's ok, I believe you, I can see that you feel very strongly.
