True but I bet your opinion would change if it was your house that was invaded and your family member abducted. You wouldn't be much worried about some bribe if that happened to you.

Perhaps I have more distaste for official corruption than you do? Relatively few states even have statutes which define "home invasion," usually, it is just called "robbery." And like most other crimes the numbers have been trending downward for a long time now. The last "home invasion" ( I do not object to the characterization, btw) out here was one drug dealer being shot by 3 others. Take drugs out of the mix and that level of crime will decrease too.

Nevertheless, Blackout is correct.
