All I advocated was giving Western Muslims their own land so we can leave each other alone. It's not a concentration camp, it's an automonous region, with some economic and travel sanctions.

Like I said, you appear to have thought about this in the span of a commercial break. I mean, seriously.

There are 6.67 million Muslims in the United States. That is more than 2% of our total population. I want you think about those numbers really hard. I want them to take root, so that it sinks in just how fucking idiotic your idea is.

That's more than the population of Massachusetts. A state with only American Muslims would rank 14th in population. Let's just ignore the fact that any attempt to herd almost 7 million people you fear because of their violence is probably going to provoke, yunno, violence.

I mean, we're deep into fantasy land.

Where do you put them? Where do you find the land to hold this many people? What do you do with the people who already live there? You would have to use American territory for this purpose, and it would either have to be in Alaska or in the continental United States because of there being almost 7 million people. You would have to stick them all on this enormous reserve, and according to you, this region would be autonomous. You would put all these people in some kind of walled-off preserve right here on American soil (which would have tons of people who would have to be displaced), which is not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States.

7 million people, all of whom now have all the justification they could ever want to become actively hostile to the United States.

That makes the Versailles Treaty look like a work of genius.

And when it starts the violence, that's when fascists like you will tell us that our only hope to survive Islamic fundamentalism is a campaign of Muslim extermination. A society that is not willing to obsorb a few percent casualties in order to preserve some value beyond immediate security is not worth preserving at all and is no loss, and not to be regreted, if defeated and absorbed by another.
