2-big bang theory in the Quran

1) The universe has always been joined together...it's the universe. It didn't explode or rip itself from...itself either.

but it was all as a joined entity(one piece) and now its not.

2) The verse says "the heaven" is expanding, not the universe.

i clarified this before the word heaven means the sky or what is above us which include everything except the earth when talking about the universe it is the earth and the heavens

3) There are many theories on what might happen to the universe; the Big Crunch is but one of them, and it doesn't say anything about the universe being flat.

as i know there is big crunch and big chill it depends on their examination of the dark matter.anyway we are waiting and hoping that they discover this when we are still alive talking about this information was impossible to even imagine 1400 years ago

All this is irrelevant because it hasn't happened yet, so to say the Qur'an has scientific knowledge of these is ridiculous...because it hasn't happened.

you are saying this because the third verse about the big crunch is not established yet?what about the first and the second? regarding the universe being flat i qouted from nasa website so correct this information if am wrong

Qu'ran is has no scientific knowledge admit it, it only has vague descriptions that anyone could take as anything, the heavens expanding could be about afterlife of good muslims being there more muslims, and as far i know the universe is not flat because there are galaxies in all directions and not just in a line, if the universe was flat we would only see a line of stars but we see stars around everywhere so your wrong
