Been there, done that, got the tshirt. I actually dropped my iphone in the bath once (because to be away from it long enough to bathe? No way!) I jumped out grabbed a towel (for the phone not me) ran through the house naked poured a zip lock bag of rice and put my phone in sealed tight. 12 hours later my phone worked fine.

I worked as a CCR at a Verizon Wireless corporate store. I can't count the number of times someone handed me their phone and then told me they dropped it in the toilet. Ew. I learned to keep antibacterial lotion in my drawer.
