Me neither, but I was prescribed them, too. Apparently, people with severe depression that are not experiencing psychosis can benefit from them, but they are extremely powerful drugs. The one I took really just numbed me, and not in a good way.
Same here. I was on very strong anti-psychotics - for insomnia (I also had a very light RX for haloperidol for mild, infrequent psychosis). Last time I was in inpatient treatment, the staff shrink was prescribing Seroquel for anxiety, depression and other ailments. Hey, I'm not an M.D., but that seemed a little imprudent.
