Ah, that sucks, Stimbo, but the numbess was horrible, too. It caused a cloud in my head that completely dulled my emotions. It was a few weeks before I was about to become a father for the first time, and I remember thinking about that and not feeling anything. No joy, no fear, absolutely no emotional reaction at all. I decided at that point that the numbess was worse than a large part of my experience with depression. It was a terrible experience.
The real kicker was having to quit it when it helped my insomnia like nothing else.
