The arrows in his draw hand act as counterbalance, there's no need for this anymore as compound bows come with a counterweight (and are themselves weighted to the rear) - not the least of which to offset the side mounted quivers which are set to the right, leaving them above the plane of a right handed archer, thus necessitating a left mount (and also the modern pincer mount to hold the arrow against gravity).
This isn't some lost secret......also, he has a shit pull for pussy shooters using a target bow.
(Hand him something in the range of 100lbs+ and see how much of this stuff becomes a joke. -especially his draw....fucking armdraw, jesus....that man couldn't even twist my cams back at 70lbs.)
