If he knows you're an atheist then why not bring up the subject in a cool, sarcastic, funny, and light-hearted way. You don't have to be all serious and shit.
He'll probably ignore your request; And the reason for that is that he's doing it ,cuz he fears that you go to hell, its a natural parent instinct . But you should try anyway Smile
