That's a clan with a lot of prominent Somali figures, including a president, a prime minister, and Hirsi Magan Isse, Ayaan Hirsi Ali's father (I picked that up from reading her biography, Infidel).
No, I'm not Somali, but I mentor some of the children of a group of Somali Bantu refugees that were relocated to Columbia SC back in 2004, mostly from Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya. So I've picked up more about Somalia than the average American bear. Only picked up about seven words of Maay-maay in all that time, though (yes, no, hello, goodbye, thank you, good, and hurry up).

yea i think only bantu somalis can speak may may...but for the most part it has some somali words (not sure though).
