I never cease to be astounded at the credulity of some folk. There's absolutely no reason to think God inspired anyone to write a book that is basically no different from the other mythological stories of its time, or that a ghost guided anyone in preserving any particular translation.
It's amazing what people can tell themselves is credible especially when considering that their reasoning faculties seem to function just fine in every other circumstance.
