There are more than two sides to the story. What about the story that says he was a prophet, but he wasn't the last and greatest prophet? Or the side that says he also visited North America to spread the Good News to all the Jews who traveled there before Jesus was born?
Your beliefs aren't as binary as you'd like them to be.

Plenty of people are unaware of the Jesus story, especially young kids with atheists parents, who call Christians "christards", and assert that Jesus is dead, all the while claiming not to " force any of my own spiritual beliefs on my 5 year old son". Puleeease. How about you tone down the hypocrisy.
Don't worry. I hear the Holy Spirit comes to everyone in some undeniable way, so that even if they never heard about him from another person, they still know The Truth and are held accountable for deliberately rejecting God out of rebellious hate. Because that's the only reason people aren't Christian; even people of other religions know that Christianity is The One True religion, yet they choose to reject it.
