The OP talks about us living multiple lives because there are multiple copies of us in other universes. The Greene video says that within a single universe, there is no absolute time. Two observers traveling at different speeds and observing from different points in space will disagree on what time it is. To you and I, it is the month of February in the year 2015. To another observer, it is July in the year 1990. Special Relativity (if I understand it correctly) says both are equally valid. The observation of all observers is equally valid. This implies that all points in time exist.
