^ Yep, the battle for control between church and state
has become a contest to see who can take over one to screw the other.
Very American to take "church-state" relations (traditionally symbolized as the govt being a male figure "lording" over the female figure of the people or the bride as the church body) and turn it completely gay ^

Clearly I'm relegated to play the role of the "straight man" in this comedic relationship, of sorts, retorts, and sordid remorse... carry on ... go ahead and spoof all you want, even using my overly boring and serious posts as fodder for thought....
