Quote:Luke 21
29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
Quote:Romans 8
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
Again I say, Romans 8 does not address Luke 21. Romans says god had knowledge of events (apparently because they were predetermined and no free will involved. Ergo, robots), but it still does not reference Luke 21 and god's foreknowledge does not invalidate it either.
Quote:Luke 21Well, that generation has passed away and we are still here. Whoops!
32 “Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.
You make people miserable and there's nothing they can do about it, just like god.

Science is like a blabbermouth who ruins a movie by telling you how it ends. There are some things we don't want to know. Important things.
