Don't worry about the low tide... the full expression of 'happy as a clam' is "Happy as a clam at high tide"... and you'll get there: the tide floods without fail 
Might take 600,000 years, but... there won't be any seagulls or mean people with clam guns trying to dig you up until then; I won't let them I've got a big boat~ 
Still.. sun's up, and the sand is warm. I just hope that warmth gets to the romantic little clam
