Ok, I don't think Judaism gets a pass and I also want to point out that some descendants from Jewish families who identify as atheist Jews legitimate the behaviour of religious Jews by not taking a stance against it.
I've met terrible atheists, some are [subtly] racist, sexist, ultra-capitalist and excessively right-wing leaning.
Since we're talking about Muslims in Europe, how many people don't remember that:
- Muslims are much less likely to get the job for being Muslims or looking middle-eastern
- Muslims are discriminated in housing
- Muslims suffer violence from European natives as well (burning of Mosques, vandalization of shops, physical violence...)
This isn't giving Muslims special rights, but we often find it convenient to point out how savage their culture is and forget the amount of difficulties immigrants face. Islam is a terrible religion, but much hatred for Muslims is based on old-fashioned conservative immigrant distrust.

Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you
