Mostly, I think an anti-button would be a bad idea here. And then I see posts like this one. What exactly do you think you are accomplishing?
Even in war re enactments someone has to be the rebels, or Germans or japs. Even when the surviving jews went back to auschwitz the grounds were perserved as a museum a shrine to not only the Jews but to the Germans as well. Why? So the survivors do not attempt to erase one side of the story or the other. That only the truth remain.
The exact opposite of what Oprah and her movie Selma did, and how it vilified all white authority including misrepresenting LBJ's role in signing civil rights into law.
I asked specifically about the 60's police officers because the vast majority did their FRIGGEN jobs and protected men like Dr. King and even Malcom X even when they didn't want to.
I asked about 60's police officers to take our history back from morally bankrupt people who would dare to say all police in that era beat black people with clubs and tear gas 24/7.
I hate the way this generation is re writting history to suit its self righteous agenda so I make comments and ask questions to make people think beyond the box pop culture would have you stay in...
But I guess your right an anti button is a bad idea here. We would not want to offend any non whites.
