Certainly not because the "other sects" inspired me to. I did not come to believe of my own volition, but because it was given to me. As Paul writes:
Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.
The specifics of how I came to believe would take far too long to write out for you, but I can assure you that there was nothing I or anyone else did that allowed me to believe; it was all God.
I will point out, though, that most Christians think having so many sects isn't an issue. Not sure why, especially given the Scriptures I provided, but that is definitely the case.
But there is only one sect, that is the body of Christ, the true Church.
