I've spoken to more than 5 different sects. When I point out the denomination problem, most of the xtians think it is a problem that I've talk to. When I ask them what makes their denomination the correct one, they give me the same internal revelation speech you just did.

So I don't believe your claim that "most Christians seem to think there is no problem with having so many different denominations." And I certainly don't buy your reason on why your version is correct.

Thinking it is a problem doesn't necessarily mean they think it's a big enough problem to bring one's salvation into question.

Agreed. But that doesn't show that the xtians don't think its a big enough problem. They all "know" (through revelation) that their version is correct. To them, the people in the other denominations will eventually see the light and join their denomination. Or they'll go to hell.

EDIT: And yes, I'm saying that confessing Christ means nothing at all, and that most in nominal Christendom are not saved at all (though everyone is saved eventually, so salvation ultimately isn't in question).

And they'll say the same thing about you. It is all a he she said game.

Where in my logic do you find fault? If the book itself says there can be no contradiction, and I am easily able to contradict these 40,000 sects, yet I can't be contradicted, then one is obviously correct and the others are obviously wrong.

1) Assumption the authors of the book actually wrote no contradictions in it.
2) For some reason the other sects are not buying your arguments. Maybe you're cheery picking the bible, maybe their cheery picking it, most likely both.
3) At no point did you show that your interpretation of the bible verse is the correct interpretation.
4) The bible contradicts on what happened in the past e.g. no global flood, earth came to exist after the stars, etc...

You don't necessarily have to buy into it yourself, but you can at least acknowledge that what I'm saying might be true.

I only give that concession to people who are willing to do the same. Otherwise, I'm not interested in people preaching to me.
