What basis do you have for thinking they are plausible let alone possible? If something seems incredulous I'm not inclined to entertain the notion. But the reason I made this thread is that so many scientists seem to do exactly that. All I want to know is why. Why entertain what is a seemingly ludicrous proposition on the face of it. Perhaps more ludicrous than believing in god.
That's not enough. The basis for the many worlds scenario of parallel universe is it appears to the most parsimonious explanation. That trumps mere incredulity. Any one can be incredulous about anything.
