Was there? I for one didn't wake up to worry abut the bomb every day. When Nixon was in office I was too little to worry about anything much and later on I was pretty sure that the Russians as well as the Americans weren't on a suicide trip. When I gave it some thought, that is. Which really wasn't that often.
The only time I really worried was right after 9/11 with Bush in the White House.
