I like how Californians are now being labeled as Americans as a whole. Huffington Post had an article stating that despite how cold the winter was to most Americans, the temperatures were warmer than the record.....later on, they let the truth out that California was the state where they were seeing that warmer weather.
It's dishonesty like that harms the Global Warming community. I live in California; I am not going to assume that my weather is like the weather in the other states because it often is not. For California, they should have built the desalination plants decades ago....I assume someone paid off the right people to shut down any legitimate proposals.
It's not about climate change, but about trying to live in a desert-like environment as if it was always a lush oasis....Southern California cities look lush because of all the water they import....go to any city in the region and chances are, most of the plants and trees are not even close to the native vegetation.
