I believe the death penalty should be used in the most extreme cases, because I don't believe everyone can be rehabilitated. This would be a case like if a woman is put in charge of a teenager for two weeks, catches her flirting with a boy, and decided to spend the next week torturing her to death for it.

I believe in universal healthcare and education. These seem like great things to spend tax dollars on.

I believe we should cut the military budget by at least half, and only go to war when we feel threatened on our shores, or if some guy starts using his army to continually invade other places and needs to be stopped before s/he takes over the world.

I believe abortion should be fine if it's in the first trimester. Maybe early second. If the nervous system and neo cortex haven't developed yet, you don't have a thinking feeling thing in there. 

Legalize and regulate prostitution and at least decriminalize drugs. Legalize weed, because it has medicinal benefits and you practically can't overdose on it. Death by weed overdose is not a thing.

Legalize gay marriage. Protect transsexuals.

Separate church and state. Churches should not be allowed to fund political parties or politicians without waiving tax exemption status. Anyone who wants to install god's law should be kicked out, because this is not a theocracy and should never be one.

Make immigration easier. I believe the main reason people try to come illegally is because it takes so long to become a citizen the proper way.

Tax the rich. Make it so you don't have to pay income tax if you make under a certain amount of money. Get money out of politics. Only allow people to receive a set amount of money to run. We have to move away from an oligarchy, and back to a representative republic.

Raise the minimum wage, and connect it to inflation so it goes up over time. I really don't think if you raise the MW five bucks, that the price of everything else is going to go up five bucks, though my family seems to think so. States have to have a living wage so we can get rid of the working poor class, who work full time and still rely on government subsidies. I'm all for government assistance programs, but we need to raise the MW too.

Fund alternative fuel and climate change research.

We have to do something about the police force. Remove any military-grade weapons, vehicles, ect. Make everyone wear a camera, and prosecute them using prosecutors from other jurisdictions. Give everyone a taser, and any guns they have should not have lethal rounds in the first chamber. We have got to keep the police from doing whatever they want with the power they are given. If it makes their line of work more difficult, so be it. No one is being conscripted into the police force.

Make it illegal to rely only on faith healing. Especially for children. Pray as much as you want after using over the counter meds, or sending your kid to the hospital.
