RE: Your Political Beliefs

Egalitarian, realist, fiscal conservative but ardent liberal on social matters.
Anti-religious/cultural exemption, anti-multiculturalist (normatively speaking), diseatabliahmentarian and hence ardent secularist. I believe in freedoms for all belief systems and none so long as they don't violate the law (am 100% pro banning halal and kosher as they are illegal in the UK apart from exemptions).
Anti-death penalty and corporal punishment.
Pro-alternative energy policy but I'm very much against the Greens in the UK. Their policies are completely unrealistic and would bankrupt he UK both economically speaking and in terms of energy (anti-nuclear means we'd have blackouts that exceed anything beyond what occurred in the 1970s). Prefer a measured energy policy that cuts down on fossil fuels but doesn't eliminate them entirely until we're ready to move on, which certainly isn't now, unfortunately.
Anti-nationalist and hence anti-SNP/Plaid Cymru/UKIP. I think nationalism gives a voice to people prima Facie but ultimately seeks to divide people rather than unite them.
What else? err, probably loads of things, heh. I'm with Rob on most things aside the greens, and animal rights. I'm 100% for animal rights in everything aside anti-vivisection, which I regard as the quintessential 'loony left'.
