Uh, wait I thought feminism was gender inclusive? what do you mean the men don't matter? If men are oppressed there, shouldn't they be helped along with the women there?
Simple question.

It's not gender based violence. Men are being killed by other men in wars, because they were sent there. That's not gender based oppression, it's a product of unfortunate circumstances. Gender based oppression is women suffering because they are women - A woman suffering domestic violence because the man sees her as weak and dependant on him because she feels social obliged to take care of children is abusing her using gender based oppression. It's really easy to distinguish.
Men dying in war is a product of wars. It's not a product of sexism. The high rates of domestic violence in some countries are a product of sexism and sexist notions

Men can suffer because they are men. For example circumcision of men is a form of sexual repression, is it not?
